Brakes

Hi All,
The front brake on my H1E is about as good as putting your feet on the ground.
It works but it could do with being a lot better
They are original pads that come with the bike and are well within wear limit.
My question is if i fit new pads will the brakes be better?
Can i fit differant pads that will improve the braking

Go up 2 or 3 shoe sizes

Have you tried another H1D/E/F to compare ?

I have ridden Andy Pretty's KH500 and they are so much better than any h1 series disc i have ever used.

Yep, they are FAR superior to the Earlier H1 brakes - I could squeal my front tyre on a KH500 at 50mph
It's all in the design, the earlier H1 (& H2) caliper will only grab the disc so much before the caliper starts to do the splits
The KH500 item, although still poxy, is FAR more rigid.

brembo twin disc convertion is the way to go!
