New Date For southern Rally 2010????

I have been Talking to some of my SPSG Posse about the possibillity of changeing the southern rally dates by bringing it forward a few weeks!

This maybe a good idea for several reasons

1st It would enable most of you to come including Nipper!!

2nd the weather should be good

3rd we looked at a superb venue earlier this year at Aylsford Rugby Club, Maidstone Kent. Huge site, massive car park & camping area, fantastic Club house with bar & kitchen & yes it has showers & bogs at night!!

It's less than a mile from the M20 motorway & still sits smash bang whollop right in the centre of The Garden Of England!!

So why did'nt we use it this year......tut tut. The Rugby season starts 1st week of Sept  :(

To top it off the captain was more than happy for us to use the site as they have the Honda Golwing Owners club rally every year :( Cant all be as fantastic as us

So a show of hands for August Bank holiday week end at the tail end of August???????

The only thing it clashes with i think is the German rally??????

Give me your thoughts....... It's a long way off I know but this could be a cracking site, only down side is I will have to join the social club to get the hall cheeper :?  :D

I'm afraid Bank Holiday weekend is no good for me. No way am I battling through 300 miles of traffic on the busiest day of the year.

Sorry Del :(

Sorry Nippster me old fruit, but no matter what date we have someone cant go!

The reason for changing back to the old date this year was for many reasons, 1 Mr Smart was going to Good wood the 3 rd week end as of last year & 2 the 3rd week end clashes with too many other events :?

We the SPSG are looking at several new locations for 2010

Over the coming months we will have our end of month meetings at these different locations, so we can ascertain the situation based upon gyroscopic principle of the earths syllabi's in regards to the earths rotation of the perpendicular :? :D

So watch this space, Delboy
