The stripe on the tail indicates D.

The stripe indicates H1D but the reg says KH500. Need to check frame & engine numbers to be sure.

if neutral is between 1st & 2nd it is a KH500
rubber mounted but neutral at the bottom of the box E/F
If it is solid mounted then it is a D

nice paint job Im not that far from you Crawley ive got a mate in Horsham he's got a kh 250 ive a h1a if you want to meet up in the future or advise on restoration give us a shout

that would be good i got the bike it had already been stripped and ive already noticed that not all is the same as my 250's so some help would be most appreciated

there is a down loadable copy of the glens manual, but I suspect you have a kh500 and the gearbox is slightly different than in the glens as neutral is between 1st n 2nd
