The NW Spring Rideout is next weekend 18 April. Weather permitting.
This is the date of the Garstang Jumble so we will meet there around 10ish then ride up to Hartside. Its about a 150 mile round trip so should be a good spring warm up ready for the NW rally the month after.

Just got warmed up.
It was good day out but further than I thought, 200 mile round trip. Nice seeing everyone again. No major catastrophes other than a couple of loose baffles
Main thing is we did'nt get wet, but it was fcukin freezing.
All in all a good day out, roll on Blackpool.

It was a very good day out in good company. The highlight for me was hunting down the rd400 up the hill to hartside. When we stopped he said " i wondered how that 500 managed to keep up with me" whilst realising it was a h2

It was a rare day today in that i actually enjoyed the h2.I paid particular attention to tyre pressures and carefully tensioned and lubed the chain which helps to minimise the surging. The cold weather also helped the running.Fuel bill aside,a top day out.
