ive recently purchased 3 new carb kits from z power for my h2c...wanted new standard jets/air screws/ needles as mine had been changed for power pipes , anyway i took the h2c to a mechanic mate who would also set the carbs for me..he complained some of the jets were not numbered and the needles looked wrong,...everything was fitted and by les for £135 and i promptly headed off into the sunset to box hill surrey to meet a couple more triples..well the bike was virtully unridable!..shock horror at box hill a friend pulls in on his H1 with the same mess after "changing to new standard kits from z power and hes super fuming as he has had his carbs of 9 times in 3 days...turns out the jets are a joke with no markings and the needles the size of nelsons column...phil from z power has e mailed me yesterday<24th> to say these kits are now being removed from sale and their just going to be selling the gaskets and springs because of a spate of recent complaints..no offer to me for a refund or replacement for goods clearly no good?...no apology for all my inconveniance ect and i still have these rubbish jets ect in my carbs .."NIPPER" was at the scene and saw these buggers and suggested the best thing for any jets ect without markings was to throw them over sombodys fence....well im bloody fuming still because its cost me £190 to get detuned ..and im left with joke parts . so where do i turn to now fellas for my jets/needles ,and dont you think z power should refund me £57?

Sorry to hear of your troubles, yep I think Z-Power should refund your purchase price under your consumer rights as goods supplied "not fit for purpose" and its clear these carb kits are not fit for purpose as Z-Power have removed them from sale admitting numerous complaints.
Good luck

Have you asked them for a refund? I am sure they would oblige. I've always found both Phil and Dave very easy to deal with but they are in business so they probably won't volunteer to refund you unless you actually ask
I'm amazed people still seem to buy these pattern carb kits when there have been so many adverse comments over the years, especially when most of the bits are still available as genuine Mikuni parts.

bloody joke"

I think Zzzzzzzzzzzz-Power should refund you for selling crap like that.
Aftermarket carb kits are crap. Any brand. Stick with original Mikuni parts.

All good, Rog

Very busy at the moment. Lots of work in the garden (which I hate btw. Gets the wife in extremely good mood though, so well worth it

) + that I have a couple of bikes to finish before the rally next week + working on the next club mag + my day job. Can't complain, really

Cheers

Also had them carb refurb bits from Zpower which gave me no end of problems.
Was looking for all sorts of other probs because i thought i had ruled the carbs out.
RB eventually sorted for me,

great bloke didnt cost me too much red wine either
Always found Dave okay and the bits were probably sold as trusted refurb packs so not entirly thier fault?
Regards
Ivor

I bought a master cylinder repair kit last week and I ordered the wrong one. My fault and it wasnt until I took it apart that I realised. I phoned Phil at ZPower and he said I will put you the correct one in the post straight away and you can send me the other one back. Have always found them to be very helpful and knowledgeable (unlike me)

The item description for the kit "for Kh500/H1" which is a broad spectrum of main jet sizes.
So gave Z power a call and they also didn't know, so we organised the right jets.
I have always found them very helpful.
For sale, 3 main jets suitable for space shuttle.
