looks like it's running on a diet of gearbox oil......RH outer crank seal kaputt, changeable without a strip :)

If you paid for your road tax, you should'nt be on a blue H2????? :? should be historic

That right outer crank seal ..is it available on its own or would it be part of a pack? theres a engine oil seal set at z power for h2s at £30..is it part of that?

heard someone can get the bikes road tax free,
it can be on the chassis number or build date, not the road registered date,

Mine was one of the last UK blue H2's registered, July 73, still got historic tax class though :D

You need one of these

ok lets get this clear

the law states
"any bike manufactured.... yes manufactured before 1st of January 1973 is tax free"

so if you have a h1b a 72 blue h2, a h1D they should all be tax free

if your bike was registered after dec 31st 1972 then you will need a dating certificate like kas750 has and your bike will be tax free

Gary T

ps my M registered h1B is tax free as I got a dating letter to prove it's year of manufacture

My H2a was registered in feb 73 but RB proved that it was manufactured in late 72 from the frame and engine nos

You stand a good chance yours is too. Its costs but its money well spent getting a certificate
