wonder how this works with the cable on other side...

could work some old bikes were originaly fit as this

The H1 engines have a splined shaft EACH side of engine so gear lever can go either side. Longer (much) cable for rear brake and you can have brake on left hand side ala older Brit bikes.....don't forget the H1 came out in 1969 and ALL brit iron had right hand gear change........simples!!!

as mine is,
not really rob, was more thinking about the brkts on the frame to hold the cable and the pivot shaft for the lever on tother side, never seen H1 with em on both sides

perhaps Kawasaki did it if you wanted to put the H1 engine into yer bsa frame..

only this time it stands for Both Sides Application

If you look at the parts manual at the end there is a few pages of optional parts and one of the pages covers this conversion Bri. Have looked at pics of parts needed and yeah they do make sense...sort of ,would love to see a set on a bike tho!

ah hah Rob, brkts needed too, quite a few more parts needed than whats offered,...very feesable with the parts,,
