My-self, Natalie & John Surtees would like to say a big massive thank you for all the possitive response & comments regarding this years venue at The Bush Blackbird & Thrush

Natalie & John have been here for 11 years but are leaving the pub in 3 weeks time. They were supposed to have gone a month ago but wanted to hang on for our rally & have said they will now be going out with a bang!! The new landlords have already said if we wish to hold our future rallies here they would welcome us with open arms

SO I NEED TO KNOW BELOW IF YOU WOULD BE HAPPY TO MAKE THIS A PERMANENT VENUE FOR FUTURE GARDEN OF ENGLAND RALLYS :?:

Although many faces were missing :( we had many new ones so thanks for making the effort & we hope you will all be back

For those that had left the site Sunday morning we were blessed with a suprise visitor who had riden 3 miles from his home on his Gant Mountain Bike just to say hello & helped us load up the van, Cheers Smartie your a scoller matey (Paul Smart) Rick if you can please post the photo below mate!!

Ok see below my photos & again thank you sooo much all of your help & coments.

I guess you need to see new owners in place for some time before you make any decision? 8)

The venue gets my vote, but as Sam says, it will come down to the new owners/landlord really. Let's hope they are as hospitable as Natalie and John (minus the chips with breakfast  )

As a 1st timer it gets my vote.......1.00am closing time was a goood idea!! good food and lots of room at the back. If new owners are as good as the last I would be happy to come back for TWO days and with a bike!!

Del Person

Had to miss the event this year, wife's brother sadly lost his fight, needed to stay with the wife.

Looks like a great location, looking at the feedback, you and everyone supporting you have done agreat job.

Look forward to next year.

Real beer I hope, that's the only thing missing from the Northern

stunning stuff
