NW Rally Trophies

We have come up with a new idea for judging the bikes at the NW Rally (well not really its been done before)
We would like to try something different and see if it works. Let the members decide

. We feel this method will give us a cross section of what people like to see in a bike. be it original, nice rider, highly polished etc etc. The advantages are.. it may give some new people a chance to win trophies, gets rid of the problem of non Club members receiving trophies and will give everybody something to do on Saturday afternoon instead of drinking!!! But can people be bothered ??
All club members arriving with a bike when signing on will receive a small fluorescent sticker. This sticker must be placed on your headlight if you want your bike to be judged. Only Club members will receive a sticker. All rally goers will receive a form with trophy categories, it is then down to them to judge the bike entering their 1st and 2nd choice in each category.
Your views or votes please.

Go for it. Peoples choice often bring unexpected results, which is good, and I believe that's what your looking for ? Over here, members tend to be harsh on trailer queens too.
WHAT ??? It came in on a trailer ?? No soup for him !

I just cancelled your transport arrangements Dave
although I notice you said "on a trailer" not "in a trailer"

We do seem to have a clear decision, but what worries me is the fact that only 18 members can be bothered clicking a button, how many are going to be arsed judging 40 bikes.
More feedback please
Come on guys we are trying here

They do the same at the worden park show. What they do is gather everyone around just before judging and then hand out voting slips and you fill it out then.

I think thats probably a good idea, rather than handing out the voting slips when members arrive we could hand them out after the Saturday rideout. That way we won't have the problem of people losing their slips

Yes, that's the way to do it. Hand them out on sat just before the voting.

you could double the voting forms up as beer tokens, that way no one would lose em, AND they would get handed in over't bar
