G6 MOW STRIKES AGAIN

so............. there i was minding my own business on sunday morning when simon text me for the tenth time begging me to go to the ramsbottom custom and classic bike show in the desperate hope of winning yet another trophy on his tatty old kh400

ok alright alright it was me mithering him .......so what
my version would have been a lot funnier
so after mithering him to go and him saying no i cant be bothered, i made his mind up for him and said i will be at yours in 45 minutes. you had better be ready.
I get there on my kettle and he says oh ,....... are we not going in the van
No i said we are going on the bikes as my mate the polisher has a stall and we will get in for free if we put our bikes on his stand.
Off we went and duly blagged our way in and parked our bikes on his stall. One of the organisers comes over and says , here you go lads (LADS!! he needs new glasses ) here is the entry forms for the judging ,just fill them in and hang them on the handlebars.
The show was quite small but well organised and very well attended as there was loads of people there milling around.

Simon only won best classic jap bike on his kh400.
The best part was ,he had to ride it up to the stage and collect his trophy in front of everyone including the full chapter of the local devils disciples................. on gravel!!
how embarrassed did poor old simon look getting his trophy and a peck on the cheek from some random middle aged woman!!
well here it is in glorious technicolour!!
this won best in show
All in all a good day out and yet another trophy for the Lister trophy cabinet.
Is no show safe ??
