What`s going on between Gay, Oops sorry, I meant Gary and Chris

He gets us all to think Saturday is the best day to go and then at the last minute switches to Sunday

3 reasons really me old mucker
chris and myself run pretty identical engines so we are still in the thows of getting them to run spot on [they are quick but we are only just starting to get anywhere near the full power yet],chris is coming with his partner Tina and she works saturday so its sunday for him.
my good lady Karen wants to come sunday as she is also friends with Tina
i have got a van full of tools including timber and cement mixer to unload even before i load my bike on
and saturday night most people will be on the piss and not in a state to ride sunday
so that leaves more track time for US

We will let the others set some times to beat
Turn up sunday and crush them

I had better get Jack to hold back a bit so you have a ET that you CAN beat.
You know who the DADDY is Gary
Be good to see you all there on Sunday. Safe journeys guys.

Mark Sav - what a guy! He's broken into the 11's at long last after plenty of trying. A fantastic 11.9 that we were starting to doubt as he couldn't back it up at all AND had someone elses race number at the top of the ticket, when he pulled an 11.99 late in the day. Let's see how Sunday goes for him.
Steve Vardy also got his PB. The magic dust sprinkled by Alan a couple of months ago and topped off with some newly fitted correct length manifolds that let the motor pick up as it should, have netted him some 11.2's @ 119. He's getting closer and closer.
Kev discovered a problem with his clutch the day before that couldn't be remedied in time and meant, frustratingly, that he was a spectator for the day. That's the problem with the custom made parts you need when you are running bikes like his ground hugger.
Alan however did get to the track with some minor chasis mods having been rushed through in teh week by Jerry. Only to join the, previously exclusive, club frequented by Gary and Mr Richie. They were only small mice that got in there and did a tiny bit of piston nibbling, but enough to put the bike back on the trailer. At least his young lad Freddie got something like 14 runs in on his first ever go up the strip on his AR50, just a couple of weeks after passing his test. machine runs like clockwork, and something tells me it won't be so very long before he's trying to get a wider cranked machine up that strip. It's great to see young blood getting enthusiastic over two strokes.

A big congratulations to Mr Saveryn - it's been a long time coming and thoroughly deserved - well done!
As for Alan's mishap, well that's just bad luck and extremely frustrating.
I'm hoping to come up with Gary (Sunday) but just keeping and eye on weather and also see how my skinny body feels in the morning.
Bike is ready and set on "Kick Betty's Arse" mode.

Hmm, late start but will be leaving in a few minutes. Weather is supposed to just be cloudy with no rain - hope it's right!
