No, i think that looks a good resto project.At the moment everybody is giddy for h2c's but in my opinion the original is best.

...I do like the look of a c but the raw edge to a '72 and how it really "digs in" at low revs when you wind the throttle on does do it for me.I used to think that a H2 is a H2, but they are all so very different, so i suppose what i am trying to say is if you have a good 'un stick with it.

Well Malc the bike was a thousand pounds plus shipping,was a bit of a gamble but it seems to have paid off. Looks like the previous owner fell off it in the mid 70's then parked it. Bike is 90% complete and has very little corrosion, engine turns over with good compression inside the tank is like new,missing clocks,front wheel,air cleaner assembly,keys # 688 and the left side panel.Very pleased.

Vin is low ish, also found the last inspection ticket under the seat dated August 73 at 9100 miles.

love it my h2 started with a [pile less than that and it ended up like this
