Kawasaki Triples Club

Over the next few weeks I will be moving into new premises. This should hopefully be a good move as I will no longer be working from home , which has just not been working.

I will now be welcoming visitors and hopefully customers where as previously I have put people off visiting me at home. All my new and used parts will now be in one place rather than split into two. The other good thing is I am next door to a motorcycle MOT station and the added bonus of being less than 100 yds from the Post Office. I am still having trouble with my mobile phone signal though, this should be rectified soon. So if you don't get an answer please leave a message and I will get back to ASAP. Once I have settled in I intend to be open 8am-4pm Mon-Fri and Sat by appointment. I would always recommend phoning before visiting just in case I am off gallivanting somewhere!!!

Sounds good Si and not too far from home.

New place looks ideal. Premises are a neccessary evil so if you can find some big enough to do the job but smallenough to have low overheads - then you stand a much better chance of making some money. I wish you every success in your new premisis and will be buying all the bits I need to complete my next project from your good self.

Roger I changed from Orange to Vodafone a while ago because as you know Chorley is in the Bermuda Triangle. Its been nothing but a fooking nightmare, if anything they are worse than Orange. When I realised I could not get a signal AT ALL at the new place I rang Vodafone to cancel my contract. A nice Indian lady pleasantly informed me "that will be £214 please,Sir"
My reply was not quite as pleasant. How can these companies sell you a service that does'nt work I now have to buy an O2 pay as you go sim card and divert all my Vodafone calls to that until my contract with Vodafone expires in November !! My only other option is to get a land line which is an expense I don't need at the moment. Or perhaps I should go for the more reliable tin can and string method

[/b]Tossers, I don't know how they get away with it mate. I knew the signal was bad with you but didn't realise it was that bad. :!:

I use Vodafone here cos its the only one that gives a decent signal in this neck of the woods, all the others (and I have tried them) are shite.

When I got my current iPhone I had loads of trouble with poor signal in the house, even though the previous Nokia was brilliant, both of them being with Vodafone.

I had to install a Vodafone signal booster, and now it works fine.

I think I have come up with an answer for my mobile phone woes.

Instead of fooking about online with Vodafone/Orange/O2 I went to local independent phone shop who I used for donkeys years, but left them because I could get a cheaper deal online

So I go to the shop tell them my tale. Not a problem they say. I just open a new contract with whichever provider has the best signal. I don't have the phone just the contract. The money they save on not supplying a phone is used to pay off my original contract with Vodafone. This is not a solution I would of got online dealing direct, because they don't tell you.

The morel of the story being. You may be able to save a few bob dealing direct but you just do not get the service you get from a one man band.

Not been down to the new place or done any work since Monday. I acquired a 1/4" scratch on my left eye whilst at Stoneleigh, don't ask me how. All I can think is it must of been a flying popadom on Saturday night

Driving home on Sunday my eve was irritating me as was Higgsy !! When I got up Monday it was very sore, by Monday night I could see fuck all. Spent 4 hours in A&E only to be told what I already new and have my inflamed eyelids wrapped round a cotton bud (not painful at all ) Today I can just about make out objects and all is a bit opaque. Hoping to be back in action tomorrow as I have loads of orders to sort out. I also have a new aquisition to pick up off Malc
