Took a KH500 rear wheel apart today and just noticed that the brake lining was starting to lift on one half of a shoe.

It could have been a Higgsy moment.

found the same thing on a usa import kh400 with just over 5000 miles

I had the linings come adrift on a H2c . . . . Half way down the mountain at Deals Gap Fortunately they can't go very far

Unless they lock up the rear end when you would certainly go very far. Down the road and then to A & E
