most have been great days, riding a 250 on L plates, i see no reason why you could not have a kh400, change the side panel badges to 250 ones, and ride that on L plates.

Once upon a time a long long time ago, three of us were out on our bikes which were in various (very poor) states of repair/legality.
We got pulled by a copper, who for some reason checked the steering, brakes and tyres on one bike, lights and horn on another and asked the third guy for his documents....
If only he had checked in a differents order??
I don't suppose he ever made detective.........

The colour of the bike has a story behind it, as follows
paul and myself, worked part time for davick motique, Paul helped at the service depot (sawley, notts ) And i helped jean (mike volans livein lover ) in the showroom (long eaton ) Every other weekend paul would take my bike to yhe service depot, quick service, new tyres & general tinker, this particular day a very large delivery from kawasaki had arrived,GARY , ROGER, & PAUL helped to unload all the new machines,As they where near the the end of the load space was a little tight, so they tried to sqwise a crate between my bike an the dwarf wall , Over she went dinted the tank smashed the side panel ooooooopps SOZ ! , SO i recevied a phone call from roger who then told me what had happened.
Mike volans also contacted me and said not to worry , we will get it repaired, But if i wanted to come down to the stores i could pick another colour, So there you go from halabut blue to candy green
with yellow 250 badges from a s1b ?
And heres my other kwaks [img][img]
