My H2C tank has sprung a leak and from the amount of nosh on the outside & white stuff inside a repair has been tryed before!
It seems to be coming through the metal! I know this sounds silly but i think fine perforations along the underside and around join (top to bottom).

H2C tanks are not the easiest to get hold of!

Off the road and looking for a option

Throw a handfull of raisins in with the fuel and they will clog up the leak (for a while)..

Got some currents will they do?

Think ive Repaired it!
Used the plastic metal stuff i had from a while back to repair casings. corner of tank a bit messed up but after three days no sign of a leak.

my brother inlaw had the same problem on a bandit tank . i got him some two part sealer from stafford show and this seams to have done the trick. ray goddard

Perforations good for tea not for fuel tanks!!

Keeps getting through!
Tank has been lined in past. No doubt a long term problem.

I'd still line your new' tank, for what it costs,

por15 m/c tank kit from frosts..........nice silver inside, you cant tell.

pour in metal ready, swill it about till nice and clean, about an hour,
that etches the metal, wash n dry it thoroughly, with hair dryer, or overnite,
just tip in the por15, swill it around tip out excess,
small tin for £8 is plenty, it'll do 2 tanks if theyre ready together,
chemically adheres to the etched tank, fills pin head holes,
but usually fix them first,.
