Nice to see a purple H2 on the cover of the latest Classic Bike mag.

I just rec'd my copy (of the mag) tonight.

I haven't had chance to read the article or anything else yet - just the bit on the cover that said it only did about 15mpg

Great write up about the H2C. Definately the best looking bike ever. However, I am biased. And yes Malc, a good article about Dave "crasher" Croxford. He always reminds me of the Transatlantic trophy races during the mid to late 70s. Used to ride to those on my H1E (KBV 25N). Ian.

Thanks for the info Gary. I actually saw it at one of the triples club rallies in about 1997/8 . A guy from Manchester had it. He knew I was the first owner and tried to sell it me for an inflated price. He told me it was standard apart from that "some idiot" had changed the shocks for Konie's. Oh dear. that was me in 1975. However. Somewhere at my mother's there is a brand new set of H1E shocks. Must dig them out sometime. Ian.

Ian if you find those shocks let me know as they would be great for the UK h1d I have just got from Gary Clarke ....I'm trying to keep it "sort of" standard UK spec Cheers mucca! Rob.
