Road Rage

I know this isn't triple related but I thought I'd share this little gem.
Driving back home this afternoon from Darlington I witnessed a case of road rage and want to relate the event as I am so disgusted with the outcome.
Very briefly. A lot of traffic is following a slow moving artic (40mph). A guy overtook a load of traffic, dropped in behind me making the car behind him brake and in turn all the others. They flashed their lights at him to let him know he's a total prick. He took offence and slowed right down making everyone stop. I slowed down and stopped to watch.
He screams and shouts at the occupants of the car that flashed their lights then accelerates away overtaking me in the process.
I took a photo of his car as he overtook me, noted down his registration and drove to our local Police Station to report it.
The outcome? F--k all. The Police will only act if the victim comes forward and reports the incident, makes a statement and is prepared to go to court. They wont even track him down and have a quiet word because "they don't have time'.
The driver? A guy about 40 -45, smartly dressed, shirt and tie, driving a 05 reg Ford Galaxy.
I wonder how the victim is coping tonight? They could have been our sons or daughters, wives, girlfriends or parents.
The guy needs a serious slap but if we did that the Police would be quick to charge us with assault.
Sorry obout the rant but I'm seriously p----d off.

Don't have time .....
Makes me chuck that one.
If the police are too busy to investigate a reported crime, or at least speak the the perpetrator - why the fuck do we even bother having them in the first place ?
Now - had the guy causing the problem have been on two wheels, maybe wheelied past or had a noisy exhaust and been caught on camera - this morning he would be looking down the barrel of a section 59 ASBO ....

I'm totally with you on this subject.. it really pisses me off when drivers overtake without first looking to see if there's a space to safely move into once they have passed you.
They expect you to slam your brakes on and make way for them, the same thing happened to me only last week, and the guy concerned had two children in the back of his car....wot a total prick he obviously was

You don't have to go far to see idiotic driving these days, I bet we all have loads of these stories, many times I get to the motorway already wound up by some tosser and it's only two miles from home fer fucks sake. What bugs me is that these tossers then act like it's the other persons fault!!
Here are two of mine..
I reported a guy a while back, he cut across in front of me to get onto the nearside lane/slip road exit on Sheffield Parkway, since there was already a car on there he had to juggle and shuffle his way in behind him, this other guy had no idea Mr Tosser was there until he tried to squeeze him out of the way, eventually Mr T had to get in right behind him.
There were some gestures and wording through the mirrors and windows, then tosser produced what looked like a baseball bat and shook it at the innocent guy, if the other guy had produced a baseball bat I would have let it go at that cos he was simply retaliating to the threats from the ass.
But since I was going that way too, I rang SY Police and gave them Reg details, directions etc but was told that he's not a local so they probably wouldn't be able to catch up for a word... but they would try.
A while later while overtaking a line of cars on the M Way a little girly car came right up the arse of mine and started flashing & gesturing cos I was only creeping past the middle lane cars... at 80MPH.
after a few mins the young girl produced and flashed... A Warrant card!! so I slowed to 70 and stayed put until she was absolutely fuming, even after clearing the inner cars. Then when she finally flew past me on the inside (gesturing some more), I rang Humberside police and reported the incident, I eventually got the Chief inspector ringing me back saying they were going to have a word with the girl who was indeed a trainee police officer and she could face a reprimand...
A week later there was another call saying just that... result.

+ 2 Matey I had something like this 3 years ago exept it was a gang of 8 young criminals that had just raided my neighbours workshop & stolen some very expensive power tools & a brand new mountain bike from another house!!
My self and another neighbour managed to catch the two main culprits just outside my house & pinned them both on the floor while my wife phoned the police. We had recoverd the power tools & the bike, guess what they said they had better things to do & we would have to let them go F@@@ING WHAT I SAID, My wife was shouting at this officer down the phone to get here ASAP
His answer was let them go & if you would'nt mind bringing the bike down to the station we will try and find the owner!!!!!!!!!!!!
We gave the tools back to correct house, that was over 3 years ago & we still have the bike, my daughter is big enough now to ride it so she does. I was done for speeding last month 54 in a 50 & now have the privillage of paying £85 to attend a speed awareness course so i can keep my licence, so i can keep my job to keep these F@@@ing low life lazy C@@@s on the dole so they can carry on stealing from law abiding good people like us

Well, with all the cuts it aint gonna get any better.
Private security firms patrolling local roads and estates may start to become the norm ....
Business opportunity there for someone ...
