This year it?s going to be dynamite! We Hope you can all make it this year at our New Venue the Hawkenbury Inn Nr Maidstone for the Haze In The Lanes Tour. Our new host Russell is no new comer when it comes to organising Classic Car & Bike shows! They have two such events a few weeks before ours take a look at their website www.thehawkenburyinn.webs.com For those of you that are just too posh to slum it if you?re really quick they still have a few rooms to rent!

Like Simon I want to encourage any of you that have smaller triples in you collection please bring them along if you can. In previous years the Southern rally has always had a big H2 influence but now we have so many members that own "One if not several KH & S series bikes" its seems such a shame to leave them at home instead of them being loved & admired out in the sunshine! If you are coming by van & can squeeze a tidler in somehow even just to show it then please bring them along.

We will keep the traditional Friday ride out & Bum-burner evening & 70?s disco with resident disc jockey DJ Delboy D plus a Saturday night band provided by the pub! Just like the Gate PH Our host Russell will provide a Saturday night Bar B Q from 10pm till midnight. For all you real ale drinkers (Richard Young & Pasty Rob) you won?t be disappointed The Hawkenbury welcomes all Camra members and Real Ale drinkers and offer 3 or 4 fine cask ales every day of the week with the selection increasing at weekends! Late bar till 1.30am plus early morning full English & Continental breakfasts Saturday & Sunday from 8am. 8)

For those of you that have not been back and felt let down at the 2009 rally by the ?landlord at the Lower Bell? please come back this year I assure you we have finally found the right venue with a fantastic host set in the tranquil leafy lanes of The Garden Of England.

2011 Haze in the Lanes Itinery
2011 Garden of England Tour is at our all new venue The Hawkenbury Inn Maidstone & this year it?s going to be dynamite! Our new host Russell is no new comer when it comes to organising Classic Car & Bike shows! They have two such events a few weeks before ours so this makes it easier for us. Take a look at their website www.thehawkenburyinn.webs.com for those of you that are just too posh to slum it if you?re really quick they still have a few rooms to rent!

I have revised the ride out on Saturday back to its original format to The Pilot fish and chip restaurant with a slight twist on the way back. All in all approximately 40 miles there & 40 miles back with some cracking roads to thrash along and the beautiful Kent countryside as a back drop!

We will keep the traditional Friday ride out & Bum-burner evening and of course the 70?s disco with resident disc jockey DJ Delboy D We will depart at 5pm Friday everning for a 15 mile ride for a Beer on the River Medway Maidstone. Bumburner is only a couple of miles away & booked for 6.30/7pm Popperdoms, Pickles, Starter & Main course only £9.95 + Drinks! Then return 15 mile journey back for around 9pm & some disco hits from the 70's with DJ Delboy D

Come here there's more! Saturday night band RUN VT provided by the pub!

The new judging format at the NW is an excellent Idea and we will carry it on at our rally. I have tweaked it slightly but it is a much fairer way of doing the judging & gives more people and new faces a chance of winning something!

Due to popular demand we have created a new T-Shirt these can be ordered by emailing me on delboytitco@yahoo.co.uk you can view it on all the KTC websites £15 or £14.50 each for junior sizes. I will have a few adult sizes available at the show & will take orders for posting out after the show!

I?d just like to add to those of you that have not been back and felt let down at the 2009 rally by the ?arsehole of a landlord at the Lower Bell? please come back this year I assure you we have finally found the right venue with a fantastic host set in the tranquil leafy lanes of The Garden Of England.
