Kawasaki Triples Club

Hi to everybody.This is my first post on this forum but i`m pretty sure it won`t be my last. I live in Crewe,Cheshire and have only recently got into motorbikes having only past my test 3 years ago at the ripe old age of 42yrs. Anyway in those 3 yrs i have had several different bikes. Recently i have had the urge to restore a classic bike and took up the opportunity to buy a KH250 B2.
My aim is to restore the bike to its former glory using as many original parts as possible.

So I am hoping that with all your expert advice on this fantastic forum I can see it through to the end and join you on some rallies. I would be grateful if you could give me any recommendations on places for chroming,parts,nuts & bolts,wheel restoration,rubber bits etc etc.

First request is I need every rubber bit on the bike as they are all worn or perished.All suggestions gratefully received.

I have started the strip down and i am hoping and praying that i will be up and running for next years events and rallies .

I've always been a big fan of Repro in the past and have bought plenty from them - but their stuff is taking longer and longer to get over here.

I've now been waiting FOUR weeks for my last order. I emailed them to chase it up on Friday morning but still got no reply yet...I will give it til Tuesday and then kick off a Paypal claim I reckon.

Use the guy suggested above if you can ... at least he is UK based

I agree it's unusual - it's the fact they didn't reply to my email I found most annoying but maybe they are away as you suggest.

I will email again on Monday and see if I can get a reply.

If the CP were on strike and it's delaying things mind, a bulk email to customers likely to be affected may have been a clever move perhaps ?

RD's single biggest failing is there is no communication at all from them between us paying for stuff and it rocking up over here ...no notification of despatch, no tracking number, no confirmation they had stock - nothing at all ....
