Only managed to get there for the Sunday. It was a scorcher & got a feeling a good few got burnt! Event had the feel of a Mini Rally & i am sure this is the route to take to fill in the Gap for next year with the Spa taking place of National Rally. Racing was fun and totally inpredictable & i will leave report to those that have a better memory than me on times & speed. I left with a 2 hour ride home with Gary Clarke & Chris Payne to Race the final??

Fantastic weekend: sunny both saturday and sunday.
Great competition between us all during Eliminators: good show:
Alan's son getting his near stock 400 upto a 96 MPH terminal
Kev getting stuck on consistent 10.1's on his 500 until it s an airleak developed in the case or crank somewhere.
Mark being frustrated when he found out his new Spannies robbed 6 MPH of his terminal
Nipper who I saw having the fright of his life when he got of the line in near perfect fashion: very quick and seemingly well in control.
Alan showing a wheelybar is required on the very low banana H2
GaryC racing to a 9.1@147  while the bike being squirmish from start to finish. Brave man for keeping WOT!
More details from others shortly I guess.
At my end, the stock H1A I brought is clearly down on power with terminalspeec of just 99 mph compared to 106 mph it managed before the rebuild. Some investigation required.
Terminal speed of my tuned 750 were OK-ish at 123-124 mph Too cautious leaving the line left me with best ET of 11.47. Need to practice starts some more.
Thanks Mandy and Deb for your care during the weekend
Most enjoyable weekend! Back next yr.
Thanks for organizing Nipper/Gary

how did The early H2 [ wild porting] fair against the Z900 ? , back in the day, I know magazine adds bragged of the superior 4 cylinder 4 stroke , but they had to didn"t they, as bikes were swinging towards 4 strokes [ emission laws]

Every contenst H2 vs Z1 ended with H2 a winner.
Be it at the Triples rally on the dyno back in 1984, or last weekend and any contest inbetween at any venue.
Heck, even the tuned to the balls Busa's, ZX10-'s and CB's were humiliated by GaryC on his H2. Several modern bike owners turned their heads in disbelieve when the saw the 9.2's Gary put on the board! 8)
