The Wet Dutch Rally

Landed in Rotterdam to the sound of thunder, lightening and rain, heavy rain....... all the way down to Heerlen it rained!!!
When we got out of the ferry port Ray's bike decided it did not need indicators or front light but the rear brake light still worked........ for a short time, that packed up also!
Visibility was very very poor and we soon found out that our waterproofs are not very waterproof and everything we packed was wringing wet by the time we got there, even the passports and money in the bumbag
Thankfully the campsite had a tumble drier
Had a wondeful weekend despite the weather, our old mate Dick appeared eventually (couldn't find it and he lives 30 mins away!). The rideout was interesting, they chose to lose us (Leon blamed the slow Trident lol) and somehow we ended up on the border of Belgium
Shan't put more as I will do a report for the club mag
