Went to buy some Bel-Ray Si7 oil the other day from my usual shop.
None to be seen.
The dealer said Bel-Ray had fallen out with the UK distributor and its no longer imported.!
Anyone know the back ground to this spat
Next question, what the next best oil to use?

I used to buy it direct from the importer in Plymouth for my H2, but it got very expensive
Just stick any old shit in now from France via Carrefour, 2L bottle semi Synthetic 8.25 Euros Just as good
You could get it direct from the states

Bit more. I searched the web and found a discussion on another board. All were saying Nick Robinson Motorcycles stock Bel Ray. I rang them. nice chap answered and told me the importers got fed up with Bel Rays greed and told them to F off when the current contract ran out. He said that in their own 2 stroke comp bikes they now run USA oil, Maxima. he said they have been running it for about a year and is fantastic stuff. He said they pretty much cover every product that Bel Ray done. He also said that Bel ray were looking for another importer. Nick Robinson Motorcycles 01256 880 003. Basingstoke, hampshire RG27 0AG

The previous Bel Ray importer now are an agent for Maxima.
I use Motorex, brilliant stuff, but to be honest any of the reputable brands are infinately better than what was about in the 70's anyway.

I am another on Motorex as well.
Their two stroke Cross Power 2T really does burn cleanly.
