After a very busy six years , the triples have taken a back seat for to long, getting the flyer for the 40th bash has inspired me to spark up the H2c & get it running... carbs stripped & cleaned, forks rebuilt, battery charged... motor running & new pipes ordered from higgsy cant wait !! :D

Leon has posted the following on RB's site

it was a good meeting. The dat is defenatly 29-30 June and 1 july
Before the end of november we know for shure if it's a final yes.
It all depends if we can make it worth it for them.
So if in the end it doesn't cost them extra money it will be a yes

If everything goes to plan, the will ask us to make as much extra publicity for them.
So that means flyers, ads in clubmagazins, names of the not so obvious clasic mags around the globe.

They changed the layout a bit, so were this year the Moto Guzi space was, there will be the commercial stands next year.

Hotels will be a problem because the Tour the France starts that weekend in Liege.
Camping is not possible on the circuit, but near is a motor friendly campsite
On the side of the F1 pits there will be "our space".
Display for all models and colours H2
Possibility for commercial activities for a small fee.
Possible we can ride the track for a few laps as a parade.
We need former works riders of H2R or KR750.
There will be a theme of vintage endurance race, maybe we can enter a team?
Names of former endurance teams?
if there are things I forgot, don't hessitate I can forward them to the organisation.

Hopefully Gary will soon have the forms (you received with the last club magazine) back from interested club members. We will then have an idea on numbers and can get the ball rolling.

Once we have confirmation on dates and numbers I plan to have a meeting for all Northern members interested in attending as a Club group where we will discuss what we intend to do. For those not able to attend I will send out and post on the forums details of what we decide.

Just booked a hotel room at Spa. They are going fast.
£165 for 2 nights for 2 people.
Mrs D. likes a bit of comfort after being shaken half to death on a triple.

I'm still confused as to exactly what is happening, when and how.
Yes i have read all the different threads, but as yet all i can definately see is the dates. :?

Are we all going together? or is it every man for himself?
Where are we all stopping? is there any camping? Are we all camping together or what/ where?
what is happening when we get there? who if anyone is organising it?
Are we going on the track?
Are there any facilities ie toilets ,showers etc?
Are we having a ride out on the public roads over there?

sorry if i am being a bit thick ,but i really want to come ,but i just dont know what is happening

Is this a triples club uk thing or is it being organised by the europeans?

There is only ONE Ferry per day Higgsy (oop North) so we'll all end up at the same place at the same time..

OH!! Chipshop first! YAY!!

I just disposed of my need for a tent.. so I don't really need the backup van although it will pass within 500yds of home..
