Just brought this on a bit of a whim (and a bottle of Cider)

I've restored a few bikes over the years including a couple of Kawasaki A7's. I've been looking at H1's/H2's for a while. After watching rugby and drinking to much Cider I brought this !!!

That was a cheap bike..well done!!...H2's have taken a big tumble price wise..

Yes and No.
The mainstream advertised bikes are fetching lower prices
HOWEVER
I know of 3 h2"s be it h2 or A,B,or C
that have made 7k,8k and 10k recently.

The prices are holding up overall.
Its just a blip that started in simmer with a couple of importers bringing in and trying to sell too many in a traditional period of low demanm, Olus a few older restorations were put on the market by owners who hadn`t used them for years. ( When they saw them selling for 3 or 4 times what they paid for them. )
Trouble is when you have 5 or 6 on E Bay each week, Folk get lazy and think they can pick and choose forever.
BUT now the price has "dropped" those same Importers will stop bringing them back in, and as prices are still Very strong in the States, it`ll be more difficult to buy ones to bring back and sell for £5k at a profit...........pause for breath.!!.........and the prices will once again rise.
I know these things !!!
AND Malc is right too. Other, non E bayer bragain hunters are still coming to the Steady & Long term Kawa sellers to buy , and paying higher prices for the back-up support and assured quality they receive.
( Saying that , Drayton Pete`s a top man, and that bike is WAY TOO cheap !!! Should have been £6500. )

as they say on antiques programmes..... "quality always sells"
High end, quality bikes have to be seen as a long term investment,
I agree Neil that bike is very nice and was a 'bargain'
