i am looking for h2 crankshafts for rebuild
anyone got spare ?
someone has cut the end off 1 of the rainbow chaser cranks [dont know why] and i need replacement

Is that the ignition rotor end Gary? In which case it likely to have fractured off as this is not uncommon. That's what happened to Alan on my 72 road H2 and why it wasn't seen out on the strip last year. It actually fell off gently pulling away on the street rather than the strip. The first time I heard of it was maybe 25 years ago with Dave Grist so it isn't down to ageing - or abuse with DG riding.

No in fact it was cut off and the sg rotor noshed on the end and as for cranks I gave Alan smith my spare 1 to get him back on the track so he has all the other bits which I will get back minus the rotor end
