h2 surging

took h2a out for maiden voyage on wednesday motor ran superbly no suging at all!! i spent a lot of time balancing carbs and setting timing am i just lucky or has my efforts paid off i will admit chain a bit snatchy at low rpm also cluch dragging slightly the plates are new do they just need time to bed in? ps i was stunned by fuel consumption considering i was just pottering about must be shocking on full chat

Just pottering around you should get a pretty decent MPG, it's only when you open those three great mouths that it'll plummet.
I regularly get 40MPG and others claim higher still, but I can soon make that 20 and empty the tank in 70 miles.
Having a 16 tooth sprocket on the front helps.

Now if your name was rick Brett . It would be a all time achievement to get 70 mls to a tank full lol
@8/ml to the gallon ?
