Is there a dress code for Chris's Funeral

Sorry that's sounds odd but I was at a funeral yesterday & they requested that people went in happy colourfull clothing not the normal Black? or gents white shirt black tie?

Have just got in from work and Tina rang Annette , my wife, this afternoon. They discussed the dress code situation and Tina has said that people can turn up in whatever they feel comfortable in.
Tina said that Chris would like you there whatever you are wearing.
See you Wednesday.
