September issue.
I need articles please.
I can do the Mid-Ohio article but would rather keep it for December.
I would like reports on Mallory, Spa and the northern rally coming up.
And anything else is welcome

I threatened to write one for Stale, but I didn't actually participate, I was just a bystander, so there wasn't really much to tell other than moan about the organisation and mud.
If no one else volunteers I'll do a drunken sideline view for you Malc.
You can have a copy of my Spa one anyway.

Humour me - what moan about the organisation are you referring to? As for mud, it was nothing compared to Silverstone in April 2000 and probably a few 'Glastonburys' (or should that be 'Glastonburies'?). I could write summat, but being half chained to the marquee, I didn't see an awful lot, so it would be a short article!

Considering the weather conditions and the amount of people attending I think the organisation was fantastic.

Sorry didn't see your reply earlier Gerald.. definitely not your organisation.. that was great.
The mud/gate debacle for gate D, I was quite fine with the car being locked out even though the "Three feet of water" was actually about 4 inches, but then they closed the gate to pedestrians too, which was completely incomprehensible since the walk was completely dry.. and other parts of the inner car park were far worse!
People who had got there later were diverted right over to the far side of the track.
Every time I needed to go to the car along with plenty of others we had to walk about a quarter mile, walk through moving traffic in the main driveway and negotiate a lake there just to do 20 yards, for no readily apparent reason.
Even the gate staff had no idea why, just "orders is orders".
Sorry but "orders is orders" bugs me something chronic.
