Hi,
Would anyone of you know someone who perhaps could repair an H2c Tank which has been distorted from being pressure tested ?? It has been spread outward from the lower half of the tank and does not now sit anywhere near the frame mount rubbers !! Its a disaster !!! The guy who has done it on behalf of my painter is denying all knowledge of it which leaves me God knows where and possibly looking for another tank !! Anyone out there got an H2c tank for sale please ?? I know they are rare and not cheap but any help would be appreciated !!!

Tank sounds like it is knackered
Dont know how you could get it back into shape.

Yeah thats my thought too !! Trying to get a replacement wont be easy either i guess?? keep looking on E-bay or hope someone within the club can help !!

No harm in trying to have it repaired, but been there, done that for exactly the same reason, as you force the sides back in the top of the tank will crease.
However, as the tank is of little or no use now, grind off the seam weld, open up the tank, get the bottom to fit exactly as it should onto the frame and then get someone to reshape the top of the tank so it fits the bottom snugly, before you start on this project you will need to lose your new paintjob

You will find it a hard item to find.

Took me years to get mine, JP being the kind provider, then took me years to do anything with it..!!

I think Wolfie should produce a booklet with all his tips and info ,i myself i have found it to be invaluable
