i've just been looking on e-bay for parts for my h1f, our american cousins must be on drugs. the prices they are asking, for what is basically scrap, is unbeliveable, they must take us brits for right mugs,as i see it, all they will do is kill the resto scene because bikes will become too expensive to restore compared to their worth, which i reckon is borderline anyway,i know most of us do it for the enjoyment, but there has to come a point when its financial suicide to continue.once we are too old to enjoy these wonderful machines will the next generation be interested in them i dont think so,so will their value plummet? after all they are not low production exotica, just main stream jap crap from the 70's feel free to add your comments and debate there's not that much happening on the forum at the moment

Have to agree that there is some right shyte on US Evilbay lately but you dont have to buy it. The key is to pick out the bits that are good and particularly look out for the stuff that is badly listed as some of the yanks are not as savvy as us brits
I bought a NOS seat for my Z650B1 and then sold the old seat for twice as much as I paid for the new one. The seller listed it as Kawasaki seat.

Go to Stafford in April to what I call the British bike show?
Plenty of elderly people walking about with rusty spares in there hands.
There are bikes selling there where the people that rode them are no longer with us, yet there is still an interest in buying them?
Kas could probably tell us more as his brother deals in these bikes

It runs, just not very well.
It's either carbs or electrics, it's my winter project to sort it out properly. :smt023

This is an easy one, most of the bidders are KTC members.
So please refrain from bidding when I bid and I wont when you do.

Ok. but it will attract too much interest.
I believe that in the not to distant future, the US will start wanting some of their exiled classic bikes back.
Realising this I have begun to stockpile parts, my collection of damaged fork legs, is one day going to make me wealthy.
