Bloody Japanese welders!!!!!!!!!!!

What is it with quality control in the 70's a blind man on a galloping horse can see this is not acceptable and this is after a few coats of paint. If I'd bought this today I'd take it back.

Back in the 1980 I worked up at Nigg Bay on the fabrication of large floating oil-rig and part of it been constructed in Japan but when had it was inspected and tested they were rotten, full of slag, lack fusion and porosity. About 50 of the little buggers had to come over here to repair it !!!!!!!!!!

Quality on many bikes back then poor. Some frames only had a very light coat of paint also!

They might have been crap at welding but they didnt make the same engine for fifty years like our lot did :roll: :roll: :roll:
