After the excesses of Stafford its a quiet one for me
An early start today to get the paperwork up to date then meeting a contractor at 8AM .
some materials to pick up for next week then hopefully some time in the garage working on the H2c from aberdeen which has ended up almost totally stripped

Work today but getting the guards and wheels onto my 70 h1 resto tomorrow, its shinier than a shiny thing & inspiring my to get it done ! :smt023

Might wrap up well and have a run down to Shakey.

Had a good blast around this morning on the dry roads in the sunshine. Knew it was going to be a tad parky so put the hot tub on in anticipation last night. Just got back thoroughly chilled and ready for a plunge only to find that the heater has packed in. Jacuzzis aren't quite the same if you have to break the ice first. Bugger!
Rest of weekend chopping logs.

Did wrap and well and went down with my daughter on the back. Bloody cold but good, saw Rick do a 10.9 at 132 just before we left.

Braved the cold and went food shopping in Lichfield. Made note to oneself never to wear my club fleece when shopping again -half an hour discussing the butchers KH250 he had back then, only went in for steak.

Oh yessss, the heaters are on in the Rev Shed, its now a balmy 12 degrees out there :smt023

1.5 degrees here 60mph wind and heavy snow showers ,so that's the bikes away till May next year

What do you do up in Orkney, if you don't mind me asking. My company has just sent a converted Toyota 4x4 up there for SSE.

Well it just so happens I work for SSE and yes we did get a Toyota 4X4 home here a few weeks ago. But I must say you cant beat the LAND ROVER when it comes to real hard work and abuse the lines men dish out .

That's one of the joys about being a wage slave - paid holidays unlike those self employed builders who won't take half a day off in case they loose a pound

Loved it Mr Spy, once again you made me chuckle.

Cleaned the KH this morning it got wet and grubby when I took it to work on Friday.

It was it's first debut with some of Proffessor Dave Higgs finest , attached and I couldn't wait to hear the results.

The lads insisted that I start it up on 2 seperate occassions, so they could all sample the sounds and smells.

Word got round and the audience for the afternoon performance was greater than the morning show.

The ride home was notable, because of the passengerss of a car who gave me the 'thumbs up' gesture as we waited at the traffic lights, whilst alongside them.

The pipes improve the look and performance of the bike, but more importantly, my face aches from smiling.
