Heard some bad news @ the weekend that an old friend had died. Gary Dines who was at one stage a real close friend and i would not be on this forum now and into Kawasaki Triples if not for him.
Way back in 1975 we met up with an interest in bikes. I had a GT250 & he had a K4 250 Honda!! On a sunny day in August 1975 he turned up with his new toy. It was only a 250 again (he had not passed his test) Not that he ever had L plates!! Yes it was a a superb S1C that looked & sounded like nothing else. The rest is history as i saved up as quickly as possible to purchase an S3A from Ken Kay in Luton.
RIP Gary
