The NW section are determined to get out on more organised rideouts this year. We discussed this last week at our monthly meeting. We decided to have our first ride of the year to Hartside, having done this run a number of times with great success http://www.transportcafe.co.uk/hartsidetop.html

We are aiming for Sunday 7 April. Meeting at Broughton lay-by at 10.00. A decision was made not to stop off at Devils Bridge (to save time) but we can meet up with Cumbrian/Yorkshire members en route if required.

This is a very enjoyable ride out with excellent roads but be warned it is a full day of approximately 200 miles.

Please show your interest by posting on this thread or emailing or pm me.

If you want to do 200 miles it could be an interesting first ride out after winter break. (Or breakdown)!

Ah, that's better, can actually make it now. In Paris the previous weekend.

Is spring meant to arrive before the 14th then?

Simon

Thanks for putting back the run by a week . That gives me another week to delay putting the bike back together.

I really must try harder and stop provaricating .

Assuming the bike is running well - see above - I would like to make the run .

Cheers

Nigel
