Having examined my wiring loom, i'm quite impressed by the fact there is no butchery.

Having said that, it is approaching 40 years old so i'm unsure about using it. My T140 is 4 years younger and i've had to have it rewired because it was a nightmare to live with.

What's the general consensus on re-use? Also who do you recommend for sourcing a replacement?

Reuse it no problem, just check all the connectors are clean (ish) not furry or fusty inside and give 'em a little spot of WD to help keep 'em that way.

Put in a pilllow case , and stick in with a load of washing Alan.

( Non Bio powder !! )

Cleans up the thing a treat.

( Mind you if it is anything like as mucky as your engine was best put it in alone , and with a pre-wash !! )

Might need to do it on a heavily soiled wash Neil.
