The hakenbury. Been staying next door at White cottage last two days and using the rally. It has new owners who are spot on. Food is great and the new outside bar is going to be great for us lot. All rooms next door at the cottage now booked. Got pissed with lea goulays sponsor last night who just happened to be in doing some work. The owners said they just need the word from a certain Kent member to ask for extensions on both nights and they will sort it. Woo hoo. Looks like a good one coming up guys.

Good one Rog, did you tell them we are a good, quiet, considerate bunch?

I need to ask them about leaving a Car/trailer there for a fortnight after the Southern..

What the F@@£ are you talking about Rog?

Firstly the Pub is called the Hawkenbury Inn

Secondly we saw the new pub owners last month yes their is a new outside bar but he did not mention a licence extension?

Thirdly Myself & 2 others have hired the cottages for the weekend, can you phone me on my mobile and tell me what your trying to say please so we can look into it :smt102

Actualy, I will reply.

What the F@@£ are you talking about Rog?
Firstly the Pub is called the Hawkenbury Inn

Is there any need for the F word because I made a spelling mistake?

Secondly we saw the new pub owners last month yes their is a new outside bar but he did not mention a licence extension?

I mentioned the new outside bar as a good thing for the rally because i hadnt seen it mentioned on here before. I thought the members might like to know. As for the extension, they mentioned it to me. Is that any reason to sound off? Obviously yes :smt102

Thirdly Myself & 2 others have hired the cottages for the weekend, can you phone me on my mobile and tell me what your trying to say please so we can look into it

Read before you shout. THE COTTAGE NEXT DOOR. The sheds at the bottom of the pub garden are not cottages, they are wooden huts. I will tell you here what i was trying to say without wasting a phone call. that the new owners are nice, the food is still good, they have built a great outside bar to ease serving problems and an extension is available if we so require it. Also, all rooms at the cottage NEXT DOOR are booked.

Phil, The pub has its own accomodation units at the end of the garden. They have been under construction for a couple of years but only just completed by the new owners. The white cottage is 100 yards down the road, left as you come out of the pub. The old couple have 3 rooms for B and B but all are taken. The whole exterior is being painted at this time, its not you is it?
