First Mid-Ohio purchase!

This 70H1 came up on the worldwide forum. A friend who I have got to know on the board,Rick Sines, put it on.
I thought that will go straight away!!
24 hours later the thread was moving down the board with little reponse so I Pm"d Rick and asked could he give the sellor a ring and find out abit more for me??
The bike was still for sale and had been in the family since 1984.
A provisional "VERY" good deal was made!
Trouble was by now the phone was going red hot on the bike and unless I could get some money to Rick the deal could fall apart.
Rick Drove to the guys house(about an hour away from him) and put a $200 dollar deposit on it on my behalf.
The bike had to be picked up/payed for by today Saturday or the deal would fall through and the bike would go to someone else.
Its been a nervous few days trying to get everything in place.
I did my bit at the bank on wednesday morning at 11AM.
I watched the money remain in my account (through my Iphone) and around 2PM it went out of my account.
I had been keeping in touch with Rick through texting on Skype so we were in constant easy/free contact.
I told Rick the money had gone from the account and he checked his?
The money was now in it!! 3 hours transfer time!
Rick picked the bike up last night and it is now safely in his garage.
(he lives only 40 minutes from Mid-Ohio.)
Its missing original handlebars, Right hand brake lever assembly, centre stand and kickstart.
engine is not seized and carb throttle and choke work off the cable.
The original owner went to Vietnam .
He never came back loosing his life there.
His parents hung onto the bike until 1984 finally selling it to a friend (two brothers) in 1984. The brother who had got the bike to use became "spooked" (Ricks words) by the bikes history and never used it so its probabley not turned a wheel in anger since the early 1970"s.
They do want the bike restored and refused to sell it to someone who gave a good offer locally as they knew he was going to break it!!
I thought you would all enjoy this little tale and obviously im chuffed to bits with it.
Rick told me he also had a few H2 parts including frame and crankcases???
He doesnt have them anymore!!
