"2015 will see Mick Grant and his record breaking 1975 750cc Kawasaki back at the 2015 North West 200 race week.It is 40 years since Grant set a new lap record of 122.62mph for the sea side circuit, establishing the famous Triangle course as the fastest in the UK. Such was Grant's pace that he added 7mph to the standing record! It is 30 years since the Yorkshire man last raced at Portrush but he still has the bike from his 1975 exploits and he can still fit into the leathers that he wore that day! The road racing legend and his speedy machine will take part in a celebration parade lap during race day and will have a special place in the paddock to meet the fans and reminisce about that incredible day of 40 years ago."
