Two important things for Les Coupes Moto légende.
First off all, I presume we should have some tents for you 3 Tartan, Chris and Nick like we did last year :?:
say me if we should do this.
Secondly, my mother in law must be in Paris the week of 30 31 may, so I have no room and beds for you. How we can do?
have still a parking for 3 bikes.
hotel could be the solution.
Of course I will show you the way until the big highway and after CDG airport to be sure you will not lose on monday as did Alloallo last year.

Thank you for the offer of a tent - one less thing to carry.
Shame about not having a bed for Friday.
I will hopefully see Chris and Tartan at the NW Rally this weekend and we can speak about what we will do.
A hotel could be best - depends where your bike parking is and whether it is near to a suitable hotel.

Will let you know after the weekend.
Bonsoir

Oh and I am very good at getting lost

beds and rooms solved
Pierre - former H2 owner on the 70s who finished inside a duscart with his H2 on the 70s- who was last year at Les Coupes Moto Legende and at the Southern rally 2014 with his 85 XJ 900 have a double bed and a sofa for you on sunday evening on his house andparking on his garage for the bikes. He lives around 30 kilometers from Paris south and I will coming with you in his home on sunday and then on monday we will drive you on the Paris suburbs highways..
He will be this year at Dijon too but he will come on a rent van as Gérard , who was also here (with my H2B) and at the Southern (with his 400 S3) last year, is engaged with his Kawasaki 400 S3 at Dijon this year :smt003
Tents are ok too of course, we have them you just need a sleeping bag :smt004
As Pierre and Gérard will arrived on the track before us I ask them if they can fit the tents :D but am not sure they will do :P

The place where we will meet on friday 29 may around I suppose 2 PM french time is the following
on A1 highway coming from the North (A 26 from Calais then A1) and going to Paris

Total petrol Station
VEMARS OUEST
kilometer 26
just after exit 7

see here:
http://www.sanef.com/var/sanef/storage/ ... ces-A1.pdf

you have a toolway at kilometer 44
then exit 8 kilometer 42 of course you stay on the highway
then exit Parc asterix kilometer 33 you stay on the highway
then a rest parking kilometer 29 you stay on the highway
then exit 7 Survilliers kilometer 27
and just nearly on the same place Total petrol station kilometer 26 VEMARS OUEST

We will eat sandwiches at the petrol statin and BTW what do you want because we will doing good homemade sandwiches (don't be afraid not me but my lovely girl and am not a bad cook anyway :smt003 )
choose between :
saucisson with or without pickles french baguette and butter
cold salmon with french baguette and butter or mayonnaise
ham with or without pickles french baguette and butter (can add cheese if you want)
drink: Coke or Perrier or orangina:smt004

After the highways exchanges around Paris are very peculiar.
So we will ride on this part with one froggy on the lead then the 3 UK then the other froggy

After Paris we will have around 75 miles of highway (there is no other solution because if you take a road the Paris suburbs are very important with plenty of radars and 30 MPH speed limits) then the pleasure will begin 125 miles of very small twisty roads, a 120MPH jumping hill between two curves, without anybody and petrol stations in the midddle of nearly nowhere when need.
we will be still on small twisty road when will arrive on the track :smt007

we will arrive for dinner at the french Suzuki GT triple club.

Have all the tickets for entrance of course 8)

The help bike if need will be my H2B

Weather announced is sunny friday 20° celsius, saturday 24° celsius, sunday 26° celsius :smt004

need by Pm the mobile phone numbers of Chris, Nick and Tartan, haven't mobile myself but will PM my home phone will be here on friday morning and will get you the mobile numbers' from Yann who will be with us (72 H2).
BTW at what time (french time are you suppose to put your feet on the continent on friday and at what time do you expect being on the petrol station at Vemars west :?:

Booked onto the same train.
From my experience of riding to the NW Rally I will need to refuel every 130km or so.

Coke, Jambon et fromage s'il vous plait. Merci.

you should have my PM with phone numbers.

Getting excited now.

Nick64 wrote:Do I really need retro-reflective stickers for my helmet?
legally yes but until now never see a foreigner have got a fine for this.
Could be an interesting law case with interference of EEC rules :D

BTW beware when you will go out from the train in Calais, you have a petrol station just after the chunnel exit and then on the highway the first petrol station is around 60 kilometers or 38 miles, better to refuel in Calais unless you've fueling in UK before boarding on the train. :smt002

take 98 petrol as 95 E something is plenty of ethanol

Will be on friday at VEMARS OUEST around 12.45 PM :smt004
