VENUE CHANGE VENUE CHANGE

Unfortunately the Pub with no name is now a pub without a rally he has booked a wedding in instead, SO the back up venue has been contacted and confirmed, it is now the Horse & Jockey in Hambledon.

It is a fine country pub with good food and real beer he will even bring in another keg of Guinness for those of you that like the black stuff.

it is a bit tighter for space than before but still plenty big enough for camping in tents or vans.

So the plan is.

a possible curry run Friday eve

big ride out Saturday

evening in the bar and garden for talking bollocks

breakfast run Sunday morning

180 Miles can do that on four tanks of fuel. With some to spare. If not offshore could be up for this one as well. Will text you Simon when I confirm if home or not.

Here we go ladies and gents the 2cd South Coast Micro rally is drawing closer, so here is some idea of what to expect over the weekend.

VENUE:

The Horse & Jockey, Hipley, Hambledon Hants PO7 4QY, there is camping on site food and drinks in the bar


ITINERY:


For those arriving Friday there will be a ride out for a curry. £20 per head for a poppadum & pickles, Starter, Any mains, Rice, Naan or Chapatti & one drink. all other drinks to be paid for seperatly.
Can I have some idea of numbers for this so I can advise the restaurant

then back to the pub for more drinks and chat.

Midday Saturday ride out to two popular Hampshire bike meet cafes/burger bars, it will be a lengthy ride out again with two stop offs for petrol.

PLEASE BE FUELLED FOR THE START OF THE RIDE

Back to the pub for the evening, please bring with you your inner competitive child just in case

09.30 Sunday morning twenty minute ride out for breakfast back to pub and depart.


The venue changed from last please see the flyer. space is a lot tighter this year so please take advice on where to camp/park


Saturday for the ride out we will ride some great roads to two places, my nipper will be a tail end Charlie, and my missus will follow in the van to pick up any breakdowns( to be honest given my track record it will be for Orville )

The ride out will be weather dependant but we will make every effort.

This is a micro rally , there is no band or trophies (well I might make a couple),but it is a great reason to get together, meet old friends make new ones and put faces to the names we all see on the forums.

Bring the missus, send her off down to Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth on Saturday for retail therapy, and meet up in the evening for a meal (well just a thought )

did a drive of the ride out yesterday beautiful weather with the roof down, think I burnt me forehead.

so me and Sam stopped off for a well deserved bit of product testing

As far as i know Tartan is coming down with bike on trailer he is going to France afterwards so billy no mates will be riding down on my own hoping to arrive mid afternoon friday curry sounds good
