H1R/H2R replica handlebars

Post by malc87 »

I have a set on my H1R But bought a spare NOS one so I could have some replicas made?
Saves the pain in the arse job of taking them off my own bike!
I need a mirror image of this one making for the other side?
I also require one more full set.
Who/what company would you suggest to go to to get this done?
If its more cost effective I will have a few sets made??
Any suggestions??

I could do it. Only problem I can see is dropping on the right size tubing for the fork tube. Having to turn it to size would be a pain in the arse.

Hi Malc
You need to call Nigel Everett on 01825 713339.
He is Mick Grants Kawasaki team mechanic and now restores old racing bikes for a living.
He has batches of H2R parts made up including magnesium yolks, fork sliders.
He also has fairings, seats, mudguards.
No idea if he does clip ons
If you do buy anything and he will not post it I can collect from him.
Cheers

Got an answer of the french owners I know, they got a genuine set of H1R bars years ago and they have done some copies at this time, so they don't need actually

I think my brothers H1RA needs a set, I'll ask him
