rr pipes

Post by Peter Mac »

Bought these pipes off rog ramm a few years ago & finally got round to fitting them onto my h1d as the factory pipes are going onto another project, great clearance & really tucked under the frame .. what a top job he did building them from scratch for damien when it was a triple :D

Yep thats them as when he took them back I had moved house from West to North Lunnen a downpipe had gone walkies. He was using those when we used to go sprinting back in the late 70s  Damien was still a glint in his eye and wore a Borrani spoked rear wheel and a Peter Williams mag (real) front one!!! Wonder whos running that now??

I didn't make them. A company near Brands hatch made them. I cannot remember the name at the moment. They had the bike for a day and hand fitted them. The Williams mag wheel is in Nick's loft. It is only usefull for a static display bike. Them buggers turn to dust after a few years.
