They're a really nice bike to ride but I'll bet you'll have more fun on the one behind

The RG500 would be my choice but the Honda is possibly the rare one

Re: My New Triple
Suzuki made about 9500 RG500s and 6000 RG400s (almost all for the Japanese market). Don't know how many NS400s were produced but they weren't really competing with the RGs; a bit quicker than 350 power valve Yamaha. The more sensible optionmalc87 wrote:The RG500 would be my choice but the Honda is possibly the rare one

Didn't realise you had a RG500 lurking in there Kenny?
Had 2 RG500's yrs ago but am sure the NS handled better, at least the one I rode did lol

Re: My New Triple
Wow Kenny, I didn't know that you had such a varied collection! That RG might be fairly common on your side of the pond but they were never imported to the States so the only ones we see are the "grey-market" ones that come down from Canada. I rode one at a show in Pennsylvania once a few years ago...the owner and I traded bikes to ride since neither of us had ridden the others bike before. I let him ride my H2c and I got to ride his 4,400 mile RG500. It was a very nice bike and it turned very quickly, especially after coming off of my triple. I didn't wring it out but it was obvious that it made loads more power then my h2c.
That NS is a spectacular bike! I'd give my left n__ to own one....good power in a 350 pound, good handling package....very sweet!
Congratulations!!

Re: My New Triple
Yes, very sweet my brother from another mother! I'll be glad to come over but in good conscious I don't think I'd want to ride something that nice, and that difficult to replace.
Kerry and I have talked about a trip over....maybe in another year or so....after I marry that girl!
Your RG is quite a bit nicer than the one I got to ride....very nice my friend!
