Done quite a bit of zincing Nick once you sus out the correct current setting and time to leave in the tank I have had good results struggled with the yellow passivating which kept rubbing off now I dip in caustic soda which removes any oil .
Thought I would rebuild the carbs today loads of white residue in the float bowls ,the blaster sorted that :D changed the mains from 90's to 100's on Gary's recommendation as I am not running the UK air silencer and would think finding one will be virtually impossible. Made some new carb top gaskets from and old inner tube as old ones were like concrete  .Quite pleased with the results :D :D :D
