Hi guys, yes been pretty busy and time just passes by. This one came up and I really like the purple H2A so thought I'd take the plunge.Gary557 wrote:+1.quivals189 wrote:You kept that purchase quiet.

Afraid not Leslie, we'll be at Blackpool on the Friday, but in the MG. Heading on down to Twickenham on Saturday ready to watch England wup (sorry, I meant play) the Welsh boys in a friendly!! on Sunday. Then having a few days around Avebury (near Swindon) before heading home. The MG's the next best thing to a bike and really fun to drive. We'll see you on Friday for a catch up and some beers.quivals189 wrote:Will we see it at Blackpool?

There was no Kawasaki logo on the back of my H1A seat. So I bought a £6.00 stencil from eBay & cracked on.
Took my time as per the instructions-must have given it 50 super light spray can single passes with at least 10 mins between them over a couple of days.
Well pleased with the result though.

Gave the Avenger a wipe over, started first kick. Took it to Stockport for an MOT then for a spin round my usual route: Macclesfield - Buxton - Leek - Macclesfield. It's still a bit chilly

Re: So what have you done with your triple/Bike/life this we
bought yesterday a 24 liters tank for H2. It has been made on a genuine tank for classic bike endurance races.
Here a picture of the bike for which it was made on 2009

not pretty but will help lot on long travel.
Pierre-Yves blue 72 H2 who came on Southern 2009 and 2015 brings it to me on car as he also picked up an H2 engine from the seller that we know very well :french champion on 750cc classic race on 2010 with his H2.
Met him in Paris yesterday evening and fited the tank on the rear seat of my S2A with a sandow :smt003

Re: So what have you done with your triple/Bike/life this we
Just finished putting my H1D back together after a winter tidy up:
New tyres and tubes - wheels dismantled, rims hammerited inside, rear hub polished, front hub and exhaust brackets powdered, new spokes.
Re chromed front mudguard screws, indicator bolts, headlamp ears, rear shock springs and cowls, front fork cowls.
Zinced wheel spindles, nuts, bolts, washers and head bolts.
Probably more stuff that I have forgotten.
