Registering an import

Hi All,

I am looking at a triple that was imported prior to the NOVA registration being implemented. There are documents supplied by DK proving tax etc has been paid, but its not been registered since. Think its likely a U.S.A import but not 100% sure
I have been on the DVLA website which states any new import should be placed on the NOVA system within 15days.
So my question is, should this have been registered on NOVA when the system was introduced, and is there likely to be an issue registering the bike because of this?

That 15 days is for Imports since NOVA began.

Go back to DK and they will organise a retro nova application for you.

Or , you can also go on HMRC website and download a nova1 form, and send it off with supporting receipt and c&e 389 form ( old Import duty paid form). As supporting documents. and , eventually , the Customs folk will give you a nova number .

I'd let DK do it. They're very helpful.
