I'd never been before, but I enjoyed it,met a few people, saw a lot of nice bikes,
all in all a good day,and got a glimpse of 'The Flying Scotsman' to boot.
Thanks to all behind the scenes, and congrats to all the trophy winners. Thumbs Up

Had a great weekend. Here is some of it -

KH didn't break down but due to a late start on Friday
Arrived at 01:30 Saturday morning
Was told I looked like a traffic cop
Ate fish and chips
Soaked on rideout
Avoided Morrison's car park
Keema Naan and curry
Imbibed a drink

Transit vans are dark in the back
Rode 358 miles total (34 mpg average)
Imbibed another drink or two
Pasties at dawn
Lost on rideout
Enjoyed great company
Steam train spotting

Thanks to the organisers.

Did anyone take any photos of all the bikes once the rest of the rideout got back - the contingent(s) who made it to Matlock Spa?

3 hours! I was 2 hours to cover 120 miles. Got rather wet on ride home. Had an interesting moment at 70 in heavy rain when I had a load of black bugs appear in my vision from lining of helmet.

Even though it was a "quiet one", I was pleased to meet people from the forum and very much enjoyed my time there.
I was absolutely chuffed to bits to win a prize too, it really made my day.
Thanks to all of you for organising it and to everybody who turned up Thumbs Up

Stinky won a prize too :D
