I'd never been before,but I enjoyed it,met a few people, saw a lot of nice bikes,
all in all a good day,and got a glimpse of 'The Flying Scotsman' to boot.

KH didn't break down but due to a late start on Friday Arrived at 01:30 Saturday morning Was told I looked like a traffic cop Ate fish and chips Soaked on rideout Avoided Morrison's car park Keema Naan and curry Imbibed a drink
Transit vans are dark in the back Rode 358 miles total (34 mpg average) Imbibed another drink or two Pasties at dawn Lost on rideout Enjoyed great company Steam train spotting

back home w/o trouble yesterday 3 hours from the rally site to the tunnel on sunday refuelling included (twice) no rain on comeback execepted 10 minutes in France with same weather during the rideout, full wet and dry after on the road

3 hours! I was 2 hours to cover 120 miles. Got rather wet on ride home. Had an interesting moment at 70 in heavy rain when I had a load of black bugs appear in my vision from lining of helmet.

Even though it was a "quiet one", I was pleased to meet people from the forum and very much enjoyed my time there.
I was absolutely chuffed to bits to win a prize too, it really made my day.
