Pipers 3 into one
Fitted a set of used Pipers onto my '70 H1 that I got from my new triples mate Dave Hogan on the weekend. They slotted on like they were custom made for the bike and I really like the way they look in comparison to the 3 separate pipe systems available. Also, there's more mid range punch & the flat spots have smoothed out - similar to my '69er with the reed valve conversion actually. The top end is affected a bit, it bugs out at 7K but it still gives the powerband kick and the sound it makes more than makes up for any top end shortcomings. At full chat it sounds like a V12 Ferrari .
