triple No 3

Post by Toddyboy »

Apart from writing incriminating ditties about my misspent youth I also mess around with Kawasaki triples. Here's my latest victim. It's a 1970 H1, UK bike, low side cover with points. Bit of a mess but it's 95% complete, the exhaust system is in good enough condition to polish & re-chrome, the ignition system looks clean as a whistle so I won't need a Powerdynamo, the wiring loom is in amazingly good cond, and I have a sneaking suspicion the bottom end is going to be okay too. Hold the press on that one though till I've done a bit more with the engine. I can tell it's not been messed around with too much by the way it came apart and it'll be a beauty when its done. Won't take me a year like the last two did though cos now I kind of know what I'm doing :smt002

Looks like a nice simple one this time............
You won't have time to write any more novels or stories for the site for a while doing that.

It IS a special, it's a 1970 H1. They don't come more special than that. (well, maybe a '69er with reed valves)

I did write another story actually. Its called "The test, the trumpet and Big trouble with a nice bit of crumpet"
I'll post it soon
